Butlr Care

Ambient intelligence for modern Senior Living
Led the development of Butlr Care from concept to market, an ambient monitoring platform for senior living that uses thermal and multimodal sensing to detect falls, behavioral shifts, and safety events without cameras or wearables.
The work covered both hardware and software: researching and selecting sensing hardware suited to the vertical, developing detection algorithms, designing how alerts and events reach care staff and prompt action.
I spent several months on-site in facilities early on, understanding how caretakers work and what are their needs from a privacy focused and time sensitive product like this. 
Privacy shaped the design throughout, what the system captures, what it shows, and what it discards. The platform reached 90%+ accuracy in critical event detection and is deployed across enterprise senior care facilities.
